NOTICE

Re: Discontinuation of C-STAR fund related settlement operations with United Bank of India, CSE Branch

Trading Members of the Exchange are aware that the Funds Pay-in, Pay-out etc., for C-STAR clearing house operations are presently carried out through HDFC Bank, Stephen House Branch and United Bank of India, CSE Branch.

Keeping in view the present trading volumes in C-Star and also discontinuation of high value clearing, the Exchange authorities have decided to discontinue the fund related settlement operations with United Bank of India, CSE Branch with effect from 16^th June 2010.

Hence, with effect from 16^th June 2010, all fund settlement operations for trading in C-STAR will be effected through HDFC Bank, Stephen House Branch only.

In view of the above, all trading members having their settlement bank accounts with United Bank of India, CSE Branch are requested to shift their settlement bank to HDFC Bank, Stephen House Branch and intimate the change to the Market Operations Department of the Exchange by 11^th June 2010 for necessary change in the Exchange systems.
